Tilton, NH, December 3, 2008…This holiday season, the Tanger Outlet Center in Tilton is giving the gift of hope to those in our community that are facing breast cancer.   As part of Tanger's national Breast Cancer Awareness campaign that took place September 17-October 19, Tanger donated $52,971.65 to LRGHealthcare's Digital Mammography Campaign through the Stanley K. Tanger Breast Cancer Fund.  Tanger's donation was presented during a special ceremony on December 3rd at Lakes Region General Hospital

Santa Claus is coming to our Haus! With over 101 deliciously different candies being made onsite daily, can you think of a better place than Kellerhaus to plan your child's visit with Santa? You are invited to join us a Kellerhaus for Cookies and Milk with Santa on Friday, November 28th from 2-4pm! Cameras are very welcome to capture the moment. The Summer Theatre in Meredith Village will present a Christmas Cabaret at Church’s Landing on Thursday Evening, December 4th, at 6:00 p.m. The event will begin with a plated dinner followed by a floor show entitled “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, a collection of holiday songs form the stage and screen.

New this year, Canterbury Shaker Village presents Christmas at Canterbury, Saturday and Sunday, December 6th and 7th, 2008, from 3 pm to 8 pm. Christmas at Canterbury celebrates the Christmas of a simpler era with a candlelight stroll through the decorated historic Shaker Village. Along the way, visitors can enjoy the gingerbread house showcase and contest, musical entertainment, traditional arts demonstrations, candy making, and activities for the whole family. At the Artisan Marketplace, visitors can shop for unique, handcrafted items. Horse drawn sleigh or wagon rides will be available on Saturday, the 6th.

For the fourth year, the Holiday Magic Light Park, along with local non-profit organizations, will welcome guests and turn winter's darkest days into a lighted winter wonderland. Ride through a mile of animated light displays and a dazzling cascade of holiday lights. Thousands of white lights on trees will enchant even Scrooge himself. Simple traditions like a visit with Santa, a family portrait, a wagon ride, holiday shopping, or just a cup of hot cocoa and a sweet treat near the fire will make the White Mountain Holiday Light Park a "must do" on your holiday list.

Cooking and food enthusiasts will not want to miss the Manor On Golden Pond’s, New Hampshire’s only Small Luxury Hotel of the World, new offering of culinary classes – Fork In The Road – led by Executive Chef Luis Marin.

 New owner, Anne Deli, says “We plan to create an iconic, destination dealership here in Meredith.  The name Laconia is instantly recognized worldwide as the oldest motorcycle rally in America as well as one of the largest.  It is first among the storied Big Four Rallies that comprise the major annual motorcycle events that send chills of anticipation and excitement down the spines of enthusiasts everywhere.  Our dealership is very much central to this ‘Mecca of Motorcycling’ event.” Deli continues,  “It is this spirit and enthusiasm we hope to capture year-round.  Of course, our adoption of the name should help us build even greater awareness and attendance for Laconia Motorcycle Week.  What better way to advertise than to have riders from around the world wearing our Laconia Harley-Davidson tee-shirts?”
