PSU Festival of Trees

The Plymouth State University Operating Staff is hosting its 1st Annual Festival of Trees as part of Plymouth's 2008 Hometown Holiday Celebration. You are invited to view beautifully decorated holiday trees in various themes, contributed by area businesses, nonprofit organizations, individuals, families and PSU student groups. There is no admission fee. Visitors purchase tickets (20 for $5) and place tickets in front of the tree they would like to win. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Operating Staff Endowed Scholarship. The raffle of the trees will be Sat at 9pm. Winners will be notified by phone immediately and must pick up their tree at the Senior Center on Sunday Dec 7 before noon. Any unclaimed trees will be donated to needy families in the Plymouth area
13th Annual Festival of Trees - Altrusa

The Meredith Altrusa Club is hosting its 13th Annual Festival of Trees at teh Waukewan Golf Club. You are invited to view beautifully decorated Christmas trees contributed by area businesses, nonprofit organizations, individuals, and families. The Festival also includes raffle items and snacks. Proceeds benefit area Christmas funds, area organizations in need of support, and other Altrusa initiatives. Fee is $3.00 per person; free for children 5 years and under. Holiday Cookie Buffet at Minot-Sleeper Library

Bristol - Homemade cookies of all kinds will be available to select from for home and entertainment needs. Guests of the buffet will be given gloves and a styrofoam tray to fill with cookies of their choice. Each tray will be weighed and a fee of only $5 per pound will not only buy a wonderful array of holiday treats, but will benefit the library's Building Fund as well. Madrigal Dinner

First United Methodist Church along with the Streetcar Company are reviving the tradition of 'Madrigal Dinner'. Please join the Lords and Ladies at Hampshire Manor as they sing Christmas songs and make frivolity in a hall transformed into a medieval castle. A jester, head waiter, wenches, pages and trumpeters add to the merriment. You will be served a feast of salad, roast sirloin of beef, sweetened carrots, baked potatoes, bread and figgie pudding with hard sauce. Wolfeboro Festival of Trees Gala

This will be the tenth Wolfeboro Festival of Trees, an annual charity benefit featuring more than sixty trees, uniquely decorated by area businesses and organizations, and displayed on two levels at the Wright museum. In addition to the trees, the exhibit features continuous entertainment and light refreshment.
